What to Do On the First Date

One thing that I have learned is that men are sometimes clueless about how to act on their first date. There are basics that if followed will increase your chances of obtaining another date.

1. Call her the day or night before to confirm your date. Women need validation. Also, sometimes with  free online dating
people are not always reliable. It will protect you from wasting  your time as well as your date's.

2. Plan the date in a safe setting. Women are much more concerned about their safety than men so suggest a public place such as a cafe or wine bar. You don't have to spend half your pay check on the first date. If she expects a filet dinner, that might not be a positive indicator.

3. Show up on time. Women usually like you to be there first. They do not like to be kept waiting. If they have to wait too long, you might find your self enjoying the evening alone. If you are going to be late, you must call. Otherwise, you might be back at the drawing board on a free online dating site.

4. Make sure that you are properly attired for the date. Wearing flip flops to a restaurant unless it is on the beach is not acceptable. Women look at your attire so be dressed appropriately.

5. Make sure that you have clean teeth. Investing in some bleaching products will give you a better appearance and actually can make you look younger.

6. Don't hesitate to tell her how nice she looks. Women love compliments.

7. Unless she gives you strong signals, groping is not permissable. Nothing turns a woman off more than a man that who is too forward on the first date. Sticking your tongue down her throat or too much touching is a turn off normally.

8. If you really are into her and you feel it is mutual, mention a second date before you say goodnight. Women don't like to be kept wondering. You can casually say that you had a great time and would like to do it again. If she seems willing, lock in another date.

9. Calling her to make sure she got home okay will score points. She will feel that you are considerate and thoughtful.

10.Tell her that you would like to call her the next day and see how she responds. Women love attention and calls.

Dating is sometimes a mystery because men and women are so different. As different as they may be, the same result is usually desired. People want to connect with someone that the feel comfortable with and can enjoy their company.
