Some interest of mine include: Art (all mediums), drawing, playing with clay, searching the woods for dried flowers and natural things for art projects, Poetry (Leonard Cohen, e.e. cummings, Rod McKuen...), playing in the rain, walking in woods, playing with my grandkids, sitting on my porch at night and listening to the quiet, the frogs, crickets, and all and feeling a nice cool breeze blowing on me, camping, the sweet innocence of children, laughter,i love the ocean; the sound and smells of it, candlelight, horses, bikes and riding, coloring, smoking a little and just relaxing at the end of a long day, bubblebaths, hot raspberry chai tea, windy days, cloudy days, thunderstorms, oils, photography, the sky, dancing ( 12 yrs. ballet & toe), honeysuckles, hats, antiques, vintage clothes, yard sales and flea markets, colored pencils my beautiful family, wilddflowers, and on and on.....
i'm a kind, loving, giving woman, some say i dream too much, or act like a child ( i love to play in the rain and stomp in puddles -passing that along to my grandkids too lol) and i still color-i have my very own coloring books and crayons! i even color OUTSIDE the lines sometimes, and that holds true in my life also...i still color outside life's lines.....
i'm child-like.. my heart is innocent. i still believe people are basically good. i still believe we all carry in us kindness and compassion...but that's not always true. people can be so cruel....yet i keep hold to my beliefs and try to fnd reasons for their cruelty...who really knows what tragedies they've had to endure? i think we ought to give one another a break; try alittle understanding, ya know? Life is rough; why not hold each others hands and give support? My daughter always tells me, "mom, you cannot fix the world"....perhaps not, but i can be a part of the TRYING...she also tells me i live in a dream-world..."life is not all peace and love and happiness"....well, why CAN'T it be? to me it's so simple...
i'm very spiritual and always searching for answers, meanings, always digging deeper.
i don't regret the relationships i've had that did not work out as i gained knowledge from them..lessons were learned, and i grew stronger and learned compassion and understanding and to be careful with my words..words can cut deep and leave scars on the heart..i dont want to be the cause of anyone's pain..i want to be the healer...
what time i have left on this earth, i want to enjoy it..have fun, laugh, play, dance in the rain, take lots of pictures, and love with all my might...life is not all about working and money and stressing over the future..that's not living and it tends to make one miserable while "life" is passing us by......
