Finding the best way to relax.

This has been a stressful year for almost everyone. This doesn't mean that we have to forget about ourselves. More importantly, we need to take the steps to preserve the health of our mind and body!

Everyone has their own way of de-stressing. Mine used to be the computer. Now that I actually work on the computer, I have to look for other ways to do this.

Yoga, exercise, mediation and fun activities as well as laughter are great stress releases. Let's talk about it and give each other ideas and places to go to achieve a better balance in our lives!

Comment by Dede on August 11, 2009 at 1:44am: Well the candles, soft music and nice scents are working for me. I hear that normally the scent of smell returns eventually. I do hope that it does for you Benjamin. Writing is relaxing but I find too much time on the computer can be stressful.

Comment by benjamin gariepy on August 3, 2009 at 11:57pm: Candles and scents dont do much for me, partially because i recently quit smoking and i dont smell much still. I tend to read books that arent necessarily relaxing so that doesnt do it for me. If i do anything that has to do with reading, i try to write. Most of the time it brings me back to the computer though. Very rarely do i write freehand because my handwriting is appauling.

It always helps to get something off of your chest as well as get an outside point of view when you cant solve the problem yourself. Now days i use the computer like you Linda. I find that just using it to be social in general makes me feel better.
