Well,
I would assume that a guy who still lives with his mom, or lives in his parents basement, would be a check in the "cons", side of the pro's and cons list. But what about me,? I'm probably one of the first but surely not the only one and soon to be a larg part of the country, who's parent has moved in with them. As the baby boomers retire, and us baby boomer kids, become empty nesters?, I would assume more and more of us are going to filling the nest with our parents. I have done just that. Now, here is the the big !Q&A I am looking to have...
Does it sound "Spooky, Quirky, Adorable, Sad, or just plain Week and Loser-like, for me to say I live with my Mom?. Cuz I can say it like it realy is, My mom needs someone to take care of her, to watch out for her. I know all about "womens lib", but my mom skipped all that! in the 40s she had Her Dad, then My Dad, and since he died, she Needs, some one to make her get up and shower, eat, and move her body, other wise she will just sit and watch TV, read romance novels and waste away.
There is nothing physicaly wrong with her, she has just lost her healthy body to sloth, and sadness. So I have taken it upon myself to get her moved in, and set up for every "Silver" thing and prograhm there is, but it will be a year and maybe more, befor she is ready to go out on her own again. I on the other hand am ready to date now, and well I'm very worried about how it looks, cuz I live with my Mommy. Well Ladies and Gent's I'm asking what you think.
Would you think "Loser", when I say I live with my Mom?
